Welcome to Bio Bridge Inc Courses

Our tutoring program is designed to support students in Middle School Biology and High School Honors Biology concepts through once-a-week 2-hour sessions. Whether you're new to the subject or preparing for advanced coursework, we provide a welcoming space to learn, ask questions, and grow.<ul><li>Scientific Foundations, Lab Skills, &amp; Test Prep - scientific method, experimental design, essential lab safety practices + help studying for midterms and finals.</li><li>Cell Biology &amp; Biochemistry - cell structure, organelles, membrane transport, and the role of macromolecules and enzymes in cellular function.</li><li>Energy &amp; Genetics - photosynthesis, cellular respiration, DNA/RNA processes, and basic Mendelian genetics.</li><li>Ecology &amp; Human Systems - Explores ecosystems, environmental interactions, and major human body systems to connect biology to everyday life and global challenges.</li></ul>

Engaging Activities

Beginner Course

This course meets once a week in 2-hour workshops to prepare students for the AP Biology Exam on May 4th. Sessions blend review, discussion, and AP-style practice. Participation is optional—take it if you want structured prep and extra support.<ul><li>Evolution &amp; Ecology – phylogeny, natural selection, genetic drift, speciation, populations, communities, ecosystems, biodiversity, conservation</li><li>Biochemistry &amp; Cells – biomolecules, enzymes &amp; ATP, cell structures, membranes, transport</li><li>Cellular Energy &amp; Communication – cellular respiration, photosynthesis, signaling, cell cycle, division </li><li>Genetics &amp; Molecular Biology – DNA replication, transcription, translation, mutations, meiosis, inheritance, gene regulation, developmental genetics, origin of life</li></ul>

Intermediate Course

Prepare for the USA Biology Olympiad (USABO) Open Exam on February 1st! This prep course meets twice a week in 2-hour workshops, combining content review, problem-solving, and practice questions across all major biology topics.<ul><li>Evolution &amp; Ecology – evolution, climates, biomes, ecosystems, animal behavior, and osmoregulation.</li><li>Molecules &amp; Cells – water chemistry, macromolecules, proteins, enzymes, and cellular processes.</li><li>Plant Biology – plant cells, hormones, and primary vs. secondary growth.</li><li>Genetics &amp; Molecular Biology – DNA replication, gene expression, genetics, techniques, and biosystematics.</li><li>Anatomy &amp; Physiology – reproduction, endocrine, digestive, immune, cardiovascular, respiratory, and nervous systems.</li></ul>Registration closes November 8th!
